Music has been my main interest since I was twelve - I used to listen to classical music at secondary school- along with the desire to play and write music.
When I hear the word "Listening" I immediately think of J.S.Bach, because his music is without doubt my favourite.
In general terms, I like classical music but I also listen to electronic, pop, rock and jazz music; they also have value and interest, without specifying actual artists.
I don't collect LPs, CDs or MP3 files, I only have a few, which I'm very fond of. I'm a lazy listener and I like to listen over and over again to the same songs or artists rather than looking for new ones. I rely on good radio programs to find something new.
I've always preferred to use keyboards, in particular pipe organs, but with no real motive. Anyway, I play the piano most frequently.
I was self-taught, but then from 1997 to 2000 I attended an "Organ and composition course" at the Civica Scuola di Musica in Milan, given by Maestro Enzo Conti.
In the same period I played with others and for others: from 1983 to 1998 I played the organ of San Michele Arcangelo Church in Oreno, and since 2002 I've been playing for Schola Cantorum Sant'Eusebio in Agrate Brianza.
I also love playing with the group "La Compagnia della Blandoria".
To write music is the pleasure of recreating what I like to " hear".
When I compose, I improvise a piece of music, which is recorded and then transcribed on a staff. So my writing is closely tied to my "playing".
When I develop my music, "listening" and "playing" still have an important part.
Also in this case, for better or worse, all I know I learnt by myself.
